ABOUT US
OUR STORY
We’re hospital owned—and that matters. We’re specialists. We come from the medical industry, so our company has evolved from our medical roots—as opposed to other companies who have waste disposal roots and have branched off to handle medical waste. Our company was born from the waste concerns held by hospitals in this region. That experience and expertise in the medical industry gives us an advantage that other waste disposal companies can’t claim.
We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service while upholding the highest environmental, safety, and regulatory standards in the management of regulated medical waste. We understand our clients’ unique needs
like no other companies out there and we’re able to respond with tailored solutions. Our partnerships are personal and valuable to us, therefore we treat each customer fairly, truthfully, and with the utmost integrity.

OUR MISSION
Managing our operations in ways that are both economically and environmentally responsible by innovating new ways to minimize our environmental impact while creating value for our member hospitals through supporting services and providing financial benefit.

COMPANY HISTORY
Hospital Network Ventures (HNV) was founded in 1986 when a group of southwest Michigan hospitals formed a network aimed at leveraging the strength of partnership to address industry challenges.
Through our alliance, organizations were able to harness strategic advantages that benefited them, their region, and their patients. We realized we were uniquely qualified to offer expanded services to partners because those were our needs too.
Power in Partnership
From the beginning, solving problems, saving money, and delivering the best health care possible were the goals for HNV—and that still holds true today.
Partners gain access to expertise across all facets of the healthcare industry.
They can take advantage of our superior, trusted suite of services, such as Alliance-HNI (diagnostic imaging and Oncology), HNHS Waste Management (medical and hazardous waste disposal), educational training opportunities, and more at significant cost savings. Our partners experience financial strength and transformation.
HNV today…and looking to the future
We aspire to forge solutions and use our collective power to cut costs, create value, and improve care and access. We continue to make new connections in healthcare as we advance and expand our capabilities.
Together, we all prosper.
